Records of Shelley, Byron and the Author

In 1822, having been recently discharged from the Royal Navy, the author moved to Italy to get to know Shelley and Byron. Here he lived with the poets in Pisa. After Shelley died he and Byron travelled to Greece to help in the struggle for independence.
